Hi, I am Zakary W. (That’s me in the middle just in case there was any confusion.)

I was born in 1976. I take pictures with my Nikon D80. I used to edit in Picnik (RIP), but now I use PicMonkey because it’s free and I’m lazy. I also enjoy wasting time on Instagram, I’m MsZDub.

I have two children. My daughter is thirteen and my son is six. My daughter was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes January 10, 2011, five days before her tenth birthday. I blog about T1 Diabetes sometimes and most of the times I don’t, but I will always answer any questions anyone might have. I’m not a diabetes expert by any means, but I am happy to share what works for us.

I was chosen to speak at BlogHer’s 2013 Voices Of The Year keynote and read a piece about what is probably the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me in my adult life. Or my entire life.

I am a full-time mother, a part-time bartender a Producer for BlogHer Publishing Network, Listen To Your Mother Denver 2013 and 2014 Director, and an expert regarding stain removal.

This is my blog. Thanks for playing.
