Best Pen For Chalkboard Labels

posted by on 06/18/2014

I am obsessed with chalkboard labels, I want to chalkboard label the world. Or at least all of the things in my house.

I’ve been on the hunt for a good pen to write on said labels that doesn’t smear. I mean, you can use chalk, but it doesn’t do it for me especially if for me because hello, smearing.

After an endless search for the correct pen (just kidding I looked like once at Staples and then turned to the internet) I found a two pack of Popart Wet Erase markers in white on Amazon for $10.

They write like a dream and have a precision tip that isn’t chisel, my main requirement, well, that and to not look like shit. The chisel tip is why I didn’t purchase any of the liquid chalk markers that I ran across, I don’t have time for that.

It wipes off the label with a damp towel. Wet Erase, who knew? Seriously, I didn’t. I work from home by myself, I need to subscribe to some sort of up and coming office supplies newsletter.

Go forth and label, glad to do all this marker leg work for us so we can rest easy tonight.

On the way home from Lake Dillon, Troy looked out the window and said, “I wish Zoe was here, but I’m glad I got a new rubber band gun and she didn’t”. He’s a truth teller.

Also? That beer? It’s the Hideout Helles from Pug Ryan’s. Totally on my Top Five Favorite Craft Beers Ever list.
