T-minus 23 days until Halloween, you guys. I have a love/hate relationship with this freak holiday.
Love because mini Butterfingers.
Hate because the costume pressure.
We’ve had Troy’s costume for a few weeks, we snagged it at TJ Maxx for $20. I was actually in the store when they were setting up the costume section and I noticed the get up on the rack. He wasn’t with me, but it was on his list of approved costumes, one which was a Zombie Cowboy Creeper Surgeon. Spoiler Alert: they don’t sell that at TJ.
Zoe wants to dress up this year too, apparently the kids are allowed to wear costumes to middle school. That’s totally cool with me, but. Have you seen the costumes for Tween girls?
Their options are the same as when they were smaller, except now everything is slutified and Zoe and I issue a big no thank you to that.
If you have any ideas for a costume that doesn’t require me to use brain bleach, please let me know.
