My vision went to crap when I was 12 and I have worn glasses or contacts ever since.  When I was younger, I preferred contacts.  Now that I’m older (see TIRED), I pretty much wear glasses exclusively.  You don’t have to mess with any solutions and you don’t have to put your hands in your eyeballs to take them off (THINK OF THE GERMS).

Also, I think they make me look smart.  And fancy.  Like I want to write cursive and check the stocks when I wear my glasses.

GlassesUSA.com graciously provided me with a pair of spectacles (smart people say spectacles) and they are my new favorite. I was kinda frightened about ordering a pair of glasses online, but GlassesUSA.com guarantees everything and they have a virtual mirror and you can “try” your glasses on before you make your purchase.  I received my glasses in record time and I was able to rock them out immediately.  No hands in my eyeballs needed.

I went with the Noah in gray, a refined yet modern frame. (Imagine I said that in cursive.)

You can check out their Facebook page for exclusive deals and they also have awesome savings on their site in case you want to buy glasses or eyeglasses, OMG THERE IS SO MANY WORDS FOR SPECTACLES.

According to the Vision Council of America (smart people research), about 60% of the adult population uses prescription glasses or contacts.  Do you wear either?  Let’s talk.

I am blind as a bat, but I haven’t bought a new pair of frames in years. I am so overly critical about how glasses look on my face. You rock em though!

I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 8.. I hate them, in fact I’d like a laser to go and cut off part of my cornea so that I can see. But being poor means wearing glasses, and now I want new ones! I’m judgmental and want smart, dorky glasses…that make people say “man, she’s so chic with her american eagle jeans and her boyfriends shirt on” but really they’ll go “man, she’s looking less haggard than usual” :)

I’ve worn glasses since 7th grade. I finally convinced my mom to let me get contacts in 10th grade and haven’t looked back since. I don’t like the transitions lenses (never really dark enough when you need it and too dark when you don’t) and changing out for sunglasses was too much of a pain. We need sunglasses like every day here in Florida plus contacts are just much easier for me.

With that said… I think your new glasses look fab! You really are a smarty! :-)

They have a virtual mirror? See, I’ve heard of Glasses USA before, but never bothered to go there… but now I will since you said virtual mirror!

Glasses. I wore contacts for years & loved it. Last year, I learned that my eyes weren’t lining up right & I needed some kind of prescription called a prism. Unfortunately, that can’t be done in contacts. I have transitions lenses, but they don’t darken in the car. My glasses aren’t as chic as I would like, but all the cute ones were uncomfortable. I went for comfort.
