Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow AKA WTF Halloween Is In Three Days

Wanna come to my house and trick or treat? Better drive your snowmobile and wear some warm boots.

WTF

P.S. This is my neighbor’s display at the end of their driveway. I would never be so motivated. My decorations include a jack-o-lantern that is rotten because we carved it last week.

P.P.S. I can’t even find my rotten jack-o-lantern because my front porch is buried in snow.

P.P.P.S Send candy.

You Capture-Autumn

OMG. It's in the 80's here … I'd love for cooler weather but definitely NOT snow right now. You poor thing!

  • BusyDad

Time to make a snowman-o-lantern! Actually that sounds pretty cool. Like an evil snowman. Do it, because I certainly can't.

  • Krista

Oh my gawd! Are you kidding me? I heard CO was getting some snow, that SUCKS! They're threatening us with it tomorrow. Nice, not even Halloween yet, imagine what the winter holds. The chocolates in the mail.

  • Midwest Mommy

    That is just plain nuts!

  • Miss Thystle

suck factor on wearing a snow suit trick-or-treating = HIGH

  • Chocolate Girl

    Wow. Um…. Wow.

  • Jennifer

When I was a senior in college, it snowed and snowed and snowed on Halloween. 3 and a half feet to be precise. SUCKAGE.

Snow??? 88 degrees here in Miami! :)

  • bunny

    Holy. Hell.

  • Heidi

Wow. I thought Chicago was bad. Note to Self: Do not move to Colorado. Is it cold too?

  • simply feather

oh, girl. i'm soooo no ready for snow. on the bright side, that is one cool picture of your neighbor's display. very cool.

and…send candy? you might be wanting hot cocoa.

  • Bj in Dallas

M2 are coming in our costumes, as Swiss Ski Girls. And we will have candy. And Grand Mariner.

I actually love the snow, and I'm jealous. Dallas just gets about two days each year of fake ice, and the entire DFW area shuts down, they salt the roads, and there isn't enough snow to even make a snowball.

    Clearly, we are just wannabees.

  • FireMom

Oof. I love snow. In fact, Winter IS my favorite season. But not yet. Just not yet.

That said, this capture is great. Good job!

    *tossing candy at you*

  • Ed

If you send any of that crap my way there's gonna be hell to pay!

  • Gini

And all that snow is supposed to be coming my way. BAH!

  • Chris at yardsalequeen.com

As a Halloween scrooge, I would love that. I hope it snows here Saturday night, but I don't think we will be so lucky.

  • uncle steve

Sounds like someone needs a snowball.

  • Scandalous Housewife

Dang, Z-Dub. The weather's supposed to be Supe-uh fine here on Spook Night! Trying to decide what to wear to a party on Friday…

  • Harbormom

Actually, I would LOVE to come to your house to trick or treat. Or just eat candy. And drink wine. It's warm and raining in Alabama…

  • Sheila

i remember having to wear a snowsuit under my beautiful princess costume as a child when we lived in PA. i felt like Randy from A Christmas Story — i couldn't move my arms.

i hope it melts enough so the Zoe & Mr Toasty get to trick or treat without snowsuits!

  • Diana...aka...MeMe

Wish I was there!! Love the snow… have a son in Grand Junction… miss him much way over here in Ohio! Great shot…

  • Beth at I Should Be Folding Laundry

That snow is SO WRONG. The snow sucks but the shot is awesome.

You should move here. Remember: CUPCAKES.

  • Maisy

I've only had a small dusting of snow here. I guess I'm just too far south in Colorado. Hopefully it will all clear out in time for Saturday!

  • truth

But what an awesome photo! The heck with Halloween.

  • JoRo

I busted out laughing when I read the title! A great photo – even if the decorations are covered in snow. Thanks for the laugh.

P.S. A bag of Snickers is on the way.

  • Whimsical Creations

    Holy crap! BRRRR!

We haven't gotten any snow yet…I am in Buffalo.

  • MaryMary

Yes–another Colorado poster! Maybe it'll melt by Saturday.

  • Stefany

Wow, so that is just ridiculous! Snow should not come before Thanksgiving in my opinion. ha!

It is beautiful though. Great shot.

  • corrin

Bah – I can't believe how much snow you've gotten already. I predicted months ago that this is going to be a baaaad winter.

  • Life with Kaishon

    Get out of the city.
LOVE your disclaimer about how this is the neighbors display :)

  • Stillmary

Great photo. So sad and so pretty at the same time. I don't envy you your weather but you did a great job capturing it!
